Charting New Waters: Clint Capitano to Take the Helm at Co-Operative Computing Group
The Co-Operative Computing Group has announced the appointment of Clint Capitano as its new Chief Executive Officer. Clint began his professional career in 2000 as a Chartered Accountant at PwC, rising to the position of Associate Director. He later joined Sedgwick South Africa in 2010, where he served as Chief Financial Officer.
Clint has always had a strong interest in technology, which was further sparked while managing the Sedgwick IT department. This experience highlighted the critical role technology plays in business success, ultimately influencing his decision to join the Co-Operative Computing Group.
Clint shares the Board’s vision to optimise and enhance the performance of the group companies by standardising operating procedures and positioning them for substantial growth. He aims to diversify the Co-Operative Computing Group’s products and service offerings to meet clients’ needs through tailored solutions.
As a family man, Clint firmly believes in maintaining a healthy work-life balance. He enjoys spending time exploring the great outdoors with his wife and six-year-old son.
Clint incorporates these values into his leadership style. His approach is characterised by adaptability, continuous learning, and aiming to lead by example with high standards of integrity and accountability. He envisions a legacy where the Co-Operative Computing Group not only achieves significant growth but also invests in the development of its employees while fostering a collaborative environment that values diverse perspectives and teamwork.
Clint is no stranger to change, adversity, and challenges. Clint’s history includes notable achievements in successfully implementing mutually beneficial B-BBEE strategies that promote business opportunities and growth while improving B-BBEE scorecard points. Clint’s experienced background has shaped his leadership philosophy and is among the many reasons we are excited to have Clint navigate the Co-Operative Computing Group toward continued success. “Welcome, Mr. Capitano – we wish you the best on your journey!”
